Thanksgiving place cards printed with your guests' names

Type your guest list once and every name comes out on its own tent card, ready to cut, fold and set on the plates. Grandma, the cousins and the neighbor who always brings rolls each get a card that reads the right way from both sides of the table.

The same pack sets the rest of the table: a menu card written from your own dishes, "I'm thankful for" cards to pass around before dessert and a short set of Friendsgiving games for after dinner. Download one free place card below to test your printer and paper first.

Editable Thanksgiving place cards: how they work

Enter one name per line, up to 48 guests. Each sheet holds four tent cards that are 4 x 5 inches flat and 4 x 2.5 inches once folded, with the name on both faces. A blank sheet with write-in lines is always included for the guest who confirms on Wednesday night.

  • 4 place cards per letter sheet
  • Name printed on both sides of the fold
  • Blank write-in sheet included
  • Your own colors and event title

Thanksgiving menu template with your own dishes

The menu card is a tall 4 x 9 inch card, two to a sheet, so it fits on a plate or a charger. Type each dish on its own line and start a line with # to make a course heading such as "To start" or "Something sweet". Add the date line and it is ready to print on cardstock.

Friendsgiving games for after dinner

The Friendsgiving add-on is three quick games that need nothing but a pen: "who's most likely to" cards (16 prompts like "go back for thirds"), a this-or-that sheet (pumpkin pie or apple pie?) and a find-a-friend-who mixer for groups where not everyone knows each other yet.

More Thanksgiving games and the table bundle

Want more Thanksgiving games for kids and adults? The Thanksgiving games pack adds bingo cards, a word scramble with an answer key and table talk questions. The Thanksgiving table bundle includes both packs for less than buying them one by one.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How do I add my guests' names to the Thanksgiving place cards?

Type one name per line in the editor (up to 48). Every name gets its own card, four to a sheet, and the free preview shows each page before you pay.

What size are the place cards?

Each card is 4 x 5 inches flat and folds in half to a 4 x 2.5 inch tent card that stands on the table. The name is printed on both halves so it reads from either side.

Can I edit the Thanksgiving menu template?

Yes. Type your own dishes one per line and start a line with # for a course heading. The date line is optional, and you can change the colors and the event title.

What Friendsgiving games are included?

Who's most likely to cards, a this-or-that sheet and a find-a-friend-who mixer. For bingo and a word scramble, add the Thanksgiving games pack or get the bundle.

What paper should I print place cards on?

Use white or cream cardstock (65 to 110 lb) so the cards stand up. Print at 100% scale on US letter paper; A4 works with "fit to page".

Is there a free sample?

Yes. Download one place card on this page as a PDF with no watermark, and preview every page of the pack in the editor for free.
